Check out my brother Rich's music.  He is an absolutely amazing musician, a prophet of our times.  - Tracey Sheldon
Rich Sheldon is an aspiring artist and visionary from a small town in southwestern Pennsylvania.  At an early age, he was influenced by his late grandfather who sang in a church choir and a barbershop quartet and by the music and dancing of his Scottish heritage.  At the age of ten, he was encouraged to play the electric guitar.  He has developed a unique style of songwriting blending folk, rock, blues, country, reggae, bluegrass, and jazz and is influenced by artists such as Bob Dylan, The Grateful Dead, The Doors, and Bob Marley.  He writes autobiographical songs of travel, society, politics, spirituality, and life.  In the music you will hear a subtle sometimes comical approach within the subtext of catchy phrases and melodies that points out a hypocrisy of everyday life.  In 1996, he graduated with a B.A. in Media Communication and an awareness to Film and Theater.  He currently lives in Los Angeles, CA and continues to write music, study acting, appear in films and enjoys playing in bands.
"I project images and realize the power of music to open people's minds, alter their state of being, and inspire them to think differently."  - Rich Sheldon
